You read a passage and meditate on the message it provides and its meaning. I do agree with you because there are things I don't agree with either or don't like, some don't apply to this day and age anymore. My pastor says the bible is always right no matter what century it is which to me sometimes it doesn't make sense. We don't see women just as they did during those days for example.

So the price of sin is death, with Jesus we don't have to worry about that anymore because his death paid for our sins. The reason as to why Jesus was chosen for that sacrifice was because he was God's son and therefore he was perfect and sinless. A normal human being sacrificed at the cross could not have wiped out sins clean because it's in our nature to be evil and sin, it comes from Adam and Eve.

It sorta depends, all her albums have a different feel and people connect to some more than others.

Personally, I would suggest someone new to her listen to All For You. It's not her best, and there are a few fillers but the album is mostly filled with bops, it's a good introduction; especially if you like Feedback. From there I would just start at Control and work my way up from one album to another. Damita Jo is my personal favourite, but The Velvet rope is her true masterpiece, it's like the holy grail of RnB.
