I'm not judging him or anyone.
But I think the biggest positive to come out of religion is that it should be a motivator to be a
good person, and always strive for improvement in what you do.
Whereas the mindset of "I'm going to hell no matter how I live my life or only if I DON'T act on my sexual orientation" just seems to me like an unhealthy burden to carry around and that you're carrying on in an institution that's maybe not the most compatible for you.
But then I don't know how he specifically feels or if I misconstrued his words because I was just asking and all I got back from him was an 'okay.'
