Here's some basics: It is important to make sure you leave a lasting impression on whoever is doing the interview. Be confident and try not to be intimidated. Eye contact. If you get asked about weaknesses and strengths make sure that what you mention that your strengths help you improve whatever you have as a weakness. If you don't have experience working in place like the one you applied for say that you don't but use previous job experiences that might help you with the job you are applying for.

I'm applying for a waiter/barista position and what I've been doing is just asking them if they take resumes, and if they say yes, give it to them, thank them, then leave. Is this a good approach?
