I literally was a poor unfortunate soul the last two weeks. I was so nervous because of my masters applications. The only thing that could calm me was listening to Mariah, stay triumphant – keep on living! And today I got officially accepted to the university I wanted to go to most. I an so happy.

I bought memoirs first week at Walmart and it was only $20.

Listening to Thirsty today made me realize something about Mariah's music. Even though her early music was harder to flat out SING, I believe that her music is harder to MAKE now. Like, EVERY song she makes now has about 50 layers of vocals laid on top of each other. Her songs are much more complex than they were when she first started.
