Oh my God guys, last night was the best. I've been to both The Monster Ball and now the artRAVE, and while the opening of The Monster Ball is still untouchable, the rest goes hands down to the artRAVE. Do NOT judge it from YouTube videos. They truly do the tour no justice. It didn't feel short, her voice was loud and clear, and the lighting wasn't even remotely tacky. (These are all negative comments I've heard after people watch videos of the tour.) It was truly a night to remember. And I know for a fact that she saw me a few times because I was jumping the absolute highest out of everyone around me and we made eye contact a few times!
Oh and I even met another person from ATRL. I don't know his name on here, but he's a Britney stan. He was really funny though and it was kind of nice to meet someone from here.

I don't think so. Is this "Cody" African American? I don't remember this guy being tall though.

Yeah I thought the BTWB wouldn't be that good based on the Youtube clips but it really was much better than it looked recorded, so the artrave will obviously be great in real life.

I'm glad that you had a fun time! Was that from Chicago? That was the one I was gonna go to, they sent me a reminder email yesterday to buy my ticket.

I thought I was the only one who felt the BTWB didn't translate well from internet clips. It slayed so hard. I know artRave will too... my date is a week from today

No. Must be someone else. Would be funny if it was him though.
Glad you had fun though. I agree that the show is 10x better in person than video even though I fell in love with the videos.
Whoever called the lights tacky needs help because that's the one part of the show that no one should be dissing.

No my date was in San Antonio. As a chart/sales freak, it severely disappoints me that it wasn't a sell out show, but as a stan, it really didn't even matter. Another difference between the videos and being there in person is that she looks so much skinnier in person. It's almost like an entire different person. I really don't care what size she is, but it's just something I noticed.

I really want a more piana/rock album from Gaga. A mixture of stripped down piano ballads and glam rock songs from The Fame like The Rock Show and Vanity would slay so much.
As you've said, Gaga's in her element on a piano, plus people love her music stripped down, her acoustic performances during The Fame era were so popular. I hear the acoustic version of Pokerface on radio and in shops/malls more often than the original these days..my point is that a more stripped down/acoustic/piano ballad from Gaga would be surprising in a good way, and would (hopefully) slay hard.

Ugh same I really wish she'd go in this direction again.

Icon. Viral marketing for her feature in Batman vs. Superman? Slay me Poison Ivy.
Are there people already in line for Dallas? It could have sold better, but my city knows how to stan for the Queen of Tours.

She's really giving me Lily Allen teas lately.
I love how she has this sophisticated look going into C2C. Great marketing

Pff the same happened to me with the BTWB, I had to catch this cold just for the show. I pretended that nothing was happening and I still went, yelled all the songs, danced, sweated like a pig and then went home in the middle of the night. The day after I was nearly dying but it was worth it

Gaga should put an acoustic on her album, like I Wanna Be With You! I am shocked she hasn't really done so yet. I don't think Dope as the lead would have worked. IWBWY, yes, but Dope...I don't think it would have touched top10.
Applause had the best set up. I wish the verses were good. The chorus is too good for the rest of the song. Ugh, it is really frustrating! Perfect instrumental * perfect chorus....but the actual lyrical content sounds like a Gaga parody.
The only perfectly executed song on ARTPOP to me is Gypsy. The lyrics are as good as the melody, and it all fits together. Every other song on ARTPOP sounds like a missed opportunity

I nearly died of dehydration at my BTWB date because I forgot to bring bottled water.
The Queen her effect on health. Literally snatching the life from the lessors.
