I still don't understand why SM didn't reshoot the video. It's not like they haven't done crazier things? I mean, the footage was destroyed, but surely the sets were still around for a little while? Or another one - why didn't they ever use those outfits for the live stages, and recreate the missing scenes through that?

Maybe when the concept suits, but generally she isn't a visual focus. Yoona and Jessica have been the two main visuals since before the group even debuted.

That same pre-recorded vocal they used in 98% of Mr. Mr. performances was a mess though. I hope that doesn't become a trend at SM.

I would rather just see lipsync to the CD track or live vocals with backing. Basically like f(x)'s recent Red Light performances.

These "fake live" tracks are so annoying, it's so obvious after a while and I always kiii when Yuri's part comes on because they tried so hard to make it sound as "live" as possible.

She's still the 2nd visual. Jessica practically performed half of The Boys herself while Tiffany was whispering in the back.

Plus Jessica gets loads of photoshoots/fashion CFs etc. not to mention J&K airing on OnStyle Network.

SM didn't focus on Jessica that much in 2012/13 because she had a big year in 2011 with The Boys and the Japanese debut which she got loads of lines in. Take away Jessica and the group loses something.

Given J&K ratings success and her recent OST etc, I have a feeling she will get more promotion again. Especially following Tiffany and Taeyeon's scandals.
