I am SO hooked on Erotica atm.
It's really crazy how it captures sexuality and everything around it so well - you'd think - from it being Madonna (at that time), it would be a little more outrageous and off the walls. But it captures the best of love and sex; it is very sensual, thoughtful, reflective, tongue-in-cheek. You want to dance to it but you want to mellow around to it at the same time. Some very deep and meaningful messages behind the production. It can be casual and it can be more. It's a genius album.
I shared it to my mom last night (don't know if she listened to it or not). I think Like A Prayer/Immaculate was the last purchase she made because she thought Madge was doing too much at the time. I hope she takes a listen to it. Love it so much.
