i personally think people should be able to act however they want (so long as its a genuine expression of personality and not a put on or a mockery) without worrying about wether or not theyre straying too far from what society has determined to be the norm for people who look like them. also, surely a better writer couldve talked about black struggles without belittling the struggles of gay people. its not a competition.
