Not all black people are ghetto, ratchet or twerk. People associate "ghettoness" and "ratchetness" however with black people and twerking originated with black people. When you're doing these things as a white gay man you do not face the same stereotypical comments, racism and discrimination a black woman would so it aggravates them that you want to pick and chose thigns they do that you like without having to suffer what hey suffer.

It's sad to me how many people here are blissfully unaware of the privilege they hold. As white gay men, we are able to inhabit the bodies and dialects of low-income black women "for fun", without dealing with any of the social and institutional racism that comes along with it. We can then just go back to being white men whenever we choose. That's a privilege that isn't afforded to the people we are imitating.
