Let me just start off by saying the song is incredible - the beat is infectious and the lyrics, although it's not lyrically a masterpiece, who actually cares? The pre-chorus and the chorus manages to remain stuck in your head after listening it for the third time and that for me makes the lyrics work. I have had this on repeat and I've yet to be bored
Everything about the new era seems more polished and I think it's safe to say the girls have arrived in full swing: the image, the styling, the choreography. They're getting it completely right.
