I love Taemin, but I definitely think he's a strange choice. He's the weakest vocalist, bar Minho. I guess he could release great dance music, since dancing is his strong point and it'd show in his performances. It's just strange. I thought it'd be Jonghyun especially since he just released that song. Oh well.

Definitely true, but Jonghyun definitely brings more to the table and since he's had an upper hand with solo material and doing SM the Ballad, it's strange SM would pay him dust.

I dunno. As far as vocals go I'd place Taemin above Key at this point. I mean he's improved massively over the course of the past couple albums (Misconceptions onwards, specifically) and honestly he didn't do an awful job of covering for Jong in WSS.

I guess it's all subjective, but I'd argue Key was a better vocalist, but they both fall under Jonghyun and Onew an equal amount. They're both great singers, though. Plus, I think SM got Taemin to cover Jong on WSS because he's probably the biggest image of SHINee. I mean, Key does a better job of rapping and having a stage persona than he would singing a song behind a microphone, I guess. IDK, GODNee are all so talented.
