It's more like I just type Carrie on the search bar to find the base.

The only reason why I would notice Keep Us Safe is on VEVO is because I got an email notification from it.

No matter how many top award shows country artists (of today) perform on TV, the Billboard Hot 100 fails these artists from top 10 singles. If only the live performance and video release were in the same week tho then the song could have had a chance at the BBH 100 top 10

We've been waiting -- oh, so patiently -- for Carrie Underwood's new music. And, yes, we're willing to wait a little while longer because it will be worth the wait to and hear what she calls this "new version" of herself.

"It's just a progression, a different sound without losing myself in it," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm not taking some crazy musical departure from what I've done, but it definitely feels different. ... It will feel different, look different, sound different."

Underwood's evolution has actually been underway for a quite a while. The American Idol winner has been a master at maintaining a balance between good girl and bad girl in early hits such as "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and "Before He Cheats." Her last album, Blown Away, took her into uncharted territory as she explored even darker lyrics and storylines, including the title track and the deliciously vindictive "Two Black Cadillacs."
