I still don't understand how you can stan for something from centuries years ago, by someone DEAD
If you like the music, it's possible to be a stan of anybody because there's almost always an important story to learn. Same reason people are fans of older movies/older authors.

Yep, it's as pathetic as stanning for such irrelevants acts like Michelle Williams, Cher Lloyd, Carly Rae n others.
And Bey remains the lead singer of that group. You're not gonna tell me I sang for multiple album that were extremely successful, and then say they can't be held to my credit
Phil Collins was the lead singer of Genesis and no one in the world counts Genesis album sales on Phil's solo career
You might give credit to the lead singer for his craft but one simply doesn't not count the work of a group, even if the other members weren't important, as a one man's/woman's

Destiny's Child was a part (the beginning) of her career, therefore, the achievements can be held to her credit. Especially with her being lead. I also feel like the things that were achieved while the other girls were there should be held to them.
If you include group accomplishments, Paul McCartney is by far the most successful artist of all time. He blows MJ, Elvis etc. out of the water and has something ridiculous like 60 US top 10 hits

That's why nobody (who wants to be serious) includes group's receipts as somebody's own.
Going by that logic JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone & Chris Kirkpatrick
are ones of the most successful male artists in the world.
Drop the bass, mane, the bass get lower
Radio say "speed it up", I just go slower
