I want to hazard a guess and say that the preorder demand was higher than they expected, which would be logical given that SM think no one likes f(x).

Tbh.
Like, I plan on buying it once it does come out, but I know a lot of people that would see no point to buying after they pirate.

It sounds like Sulli or Victoria in the chorus. Krystal and Amber are some of the best English speakers in SM so I doubt they would pronounce it like that.
