Yeah, we have truly fallen far from her peak hype. But in this day and age, 30K would f'real not be humiliating at all so long as she gets acclaim. Let Iggy take the title of commercial queen at this point, and I guess we'll see how that goes for her…

She really is. She seems like she'd be such a fun person to hang out with and talk to. All her music is cute and fun too.

I love Rye Rye! "Hardcore Girls" remains one of my favorite bops by a female rapper. But it's also true that I have her debut album and never play it. On those rare occasions I do, I forget to even listen to till it's almost over. Sadly forgettable stuff.
It's just so tragic—I see now that Angel Haze is getting a second chance after her debut flop, and I want Rye Rye to get one too! Maybe she can just stay an underground rapper for the next decade and make $70,000 per year at it or something. That wouldn't be such a bad life.

Especially given that, yes, she is the
real queen of delayed debut albums in the female rap game…
(And on the topic of Angel Haze: I wanted her to flop after her beef with Azealia, but now that she's an underdog I find myself secretly rooting for her…?? Whoops!

)
Side note: Remember Glastonbury this time last year? Azealia was the one who got the glowing four-star review of her set, while Iggy barely got a news article covering hers… How things change!
