The album was good but she made such a bad decision and get stuck at 3 million when she could've easily sold a lot more. No one follows those bad moves.

What you don't seem to understand is that no other fanbase will EVER have the feeling of what is like being surprised by your fave with a full new album + a video for every song all at the same time... and then whatch the whole world + celebrities react to it and praise the hell out of it and then see it selling like a monster in just 3 days and demolish other gurls failed attempts at a good first week sales...
Regardless if the era is already over or not... we felt that! we lived that! because Beyoncé clearly doesn't give a **** if it could have sold more or not and was brave enough to do so.
It sold 3-4 million WW which most artists could never achieve or would have to promote 24/7 or put it on an endless discount.... she just "farted" it...
Them other pop starts cycle is: hype... and then hype... and then countdowns to announcements... then the single.... then the lyric video..... then hype.... then the video... then snippets.... and snippets.... and teasers.... and promo singles.... and then the album...
They will never be able to escape this cycle... they're either too scared or can't afford the risk of not having hit singles...
Keep following the rules and have your perfect hit singles era... Beyoncé got all the other areas on lock anyway...
