Fact of the matter is she made MORE money than Lady Gaga. There really is nothing more to it. And 7 million is not chump change! 7/33 and 7/40 are considerable fractions!
In really I don't care how much money either one makes. It surely isn't my money. I wouldn't complain even if I made a tenth of a million a year. Congrats to both for being profitable. But its just the monsters never learn.

People aren't trying to discredit Katy, there's no discrediting cold hard numbers... they are just pointing out that Gaga made $33 million as a supposed 'has been' that no one cares about any more while Katy, the reigning 'Queen supreme', topped her by a mere $7 million.

While that $7 million is likely to be more than you or I will make in a life time, it's just kind of funny.
