I think she would have had more radio support during her X Factor time, everyone was there for her then. I still think YL will go top 5. She'll have a performance on July 6 on 4Music and probably morning shows in the release week so I think she'll be fine in the first week.
The move means that any music fans streaming tracks via services such as Spotify, Deezer, Napster, O2 Tracks, Xbox Music, Sony's Music Unlimited and rara will see that listening count towards the Official Singles Chart. Sales of downloads and physical singles will also continue to count, with 100 streams being counted as the equivalent to one single/download sales.
The move follows a massive surge of interest in audio streams over the last twelve months, British music fans have gone from streaming 100 million tracks a week in January, 2013 to 200 million a week in January, 2014, to up to 260 million currently - according to Official Charts Company data
100 streams = 1 copy? As the UK public are claiming that they got YL on repeat because it's catchy, they better stan and listen to it the whole week.
I have NRJ on my TV as the digital radio and I checked it 10 mins ago to hear if they'd play Your Love and they played it right after I played the radio! So it seems like NRJ might be stanning after all!
On February 16, 2011, "Don't Hold Your Breath" was added the C-playlist on the UK's biggest mainstream radio station, BBC Radio 1.[26] It has since ascended to the A-playlist
Yes but she obviously needs time to get to the audience. She ain't Beyonce or Rihanna to chart in the first week, she needed spins on TV and the radio first.
Not some of you overreacting like she's huge worldwide so every chart position is awful
