What gets me most is the fact they keep saying the game is "sophisticated" and "forward thinking", yet they haven't shown ANYTHING that makes up for all the downgrades from TS3. The Sims 4 looks like some sort of beta game between TS1, and TS2. It's not quite as archaic as TS1, but nowhere near as advanced as TS2.
I'm fed up of them going on and on about CAS! We get the picture, at least show us more reasons why we should be £40 out of pocket for this basic game! They took a step forward with TS3, and two back with 4. I will make my decision on buying when we see more gameplay. Tbh, I love TS3 and I've spent a lot of money on it's expansion packs. TS4 gives me (so far) absolutely no reason to go out and spend my hard earned money on it.
It's sad, this once brilliant and unique game franchise has become so desperate and money hungry. They don't care about the quality of the game... they just want us to spend money on the base game, and then even more money on expansion packs that include content that should've been in the base game. They need to get their act together.
I can't at them selling the cow plant as some amazing addition to the game, what a joke!
