I R R E S I S T I B L E On My Way is definitely the most irresistible track on Louder.
It's the most pop-fused song, and it's also a fan favorite. It was
initially released as a promo single, but got upgraded to the 2nd
single due to how liked it was. On My Way is probably the most
addicting track and is especially perfect for this time of year,
Summer. The single is also very radio-friendly + if you somehow
end up hating the whole album, this will likely be the one that
you at least tolerated. It's also a great hook if you want someone
to listen to the whole release, as it's the most generic one on the
tracklist. Meanwhile, they'll actually be leading themselves into a
beautiful and personal debut that goes into much more depth
and meaning than this.
High School is, in my opinion, the most irresistible song on both Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded and The Re-Up. An abundance of fans and critics have even gone far enough to call it her best song ever! It has something for every listener to enjoy; the infectious chorus will capture the attention of a pop fan while the aggressive flow in the rap verses will make a hip-hop fan want even more.

As the opening track, it gets the listener pumped up and ready to dive in to the album and it foreshadows the wild side that is showcased in several songs on the album, including the single Crank It Up. It even has the lyric "Once you get a taste of it, You'll be begging me for more". And since it's placed in the intense and energetic opening track, it's the perfect song for a person to start listening to the album with.
I hate having to send the title track/1st single in the first round but this is the correct song. Music is a catchy and club-friendly song (It isn't Madonna's last #1 in the US for nothing). As the song title indicates, the song is about music and the effect it has on people. I think this song is a perfect introduction for the album because of its catchiness and lyrics and it will prepare the listeners to an amazing experience though differents sounds and messages of the album.
5. basicinstinct - Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence: West Coast

Different than her previous material, this song will catch the attention of both Lana's fans and new listeners. Those who know her will be intrigued by the change of direction, the mature, surf rock sound & the tempo changes; those who do not will be left wondering who this girl is, singing with such a dark tone of voice over an instrumental that sounds like nothing else out there.
This song is so beautifully written, it draws you in instantly & once finished you will need to listen to the album because you will want more of this music and voice, and more of this atmosphere that wraps around you like a blanket and keeps you warm inside like a familiar dream.
"Right as Rain", taken from Adele's debut '19', is easily the LP's most irresistible track. The song fuses soulful vocals with jazzy beat & bluesy instrumentals to create something truly brilliant. It is easily comparable to the work of Amy Winehouse, although it addresses heartbreak in a much lighter approach. Adele's distinguishably soulful vocals are far from indiscernible on this track, although her approach to heartbreak on "Right as Rain" is much more scornful & empowering than much of the album. It not only gives off a groovy vibe, but also provokes the emotion that makes Adele such a powerful force in the soul genre today.
7. Supernatural. - Iggy Azalea - The New Classic: Walk The Line

Well, i chose The New Classic and the track i'm going to choose is the opening track Walk The Line
I chose this song because it has special meaning to me, it's a beautiful, meaningful song that proves Iggy puts meaning behind her music and still manages to make it sound catchy af and doesn't make only pop like fancy for hits. She's always managed to stay true to who she is
"I been counted out,
I've been stepped on
i was wide awake and got slept on
i had everything and then lost it
work my ass off i'm exhausted"
"Bad Boys" is a song that shows off Alexandra vocal power, the standard production quality of "Overcome", as well as the different levels of personal depth Alexandra brought to this album. In listening to Alexandra sing, one can tell Alexandra is capable of singing quality R&B songs. The reality in both this forum and in the pop world is it is really hard to get R&B type songs to standout from the crowd, yet alone making people wanting more R&B Music. "Bad Boys" gives one interest in Alexandra's music since the song is a fun track. Mainly, this song should have one intrigued to hear more of what Alexandra vocally has to offer. Therefore, I submit "Bad Boys"
This song is truly irresistible.
Paris shows her vocals off in this song, making a pop masterpiece.
With fun lyrics and a easy to dance to production, this song is great for anyone.
This is a great song for those who just KNOW they should be with someone, but just can't get them. Nothing In This World is better than this song, and that's for sure!
DDD, an indie-pop with a little of disco track, It's definitely the standout on the album.
Very well written lyrics in form of poetry, a consistent and good use of folk instruments with an audacious instrumental build, the hook, only conformated with three verses, can be a bit weak, but at the end it helped the song, making the stanzas, which are incredible, an important part of the song and not just a Fancy sized mess. The whole things just flows perfectly together.
And quoting Tom Ewing, ''If you don't smile at that, Lykke Li/Youth Novels is probably not for you''.
So for this Challenge, I chose "When you touch me" as the stand out/irresistible track. It's a sexy, sultry uptempo r&b ballad,& once you listen once, you have to listen again. Something about Brandy's vocals on this track really leaves a mark. Especially towards the end where you hear all the different dynamics to her voice.
12. holyground - Paramore - Paramore: Ain't It Fun

And then you start hearing elements of funk and soul. And all of a sudden there's a freaking gospel choir. By this point, you can't help but sing along.
This song is the perfect embodiment of what Paramore, the album is about. It's all about them trying out different genres, and creating something that is fun and amazing to listen to, yet without forgoing the sound they've always had for years.
13. Element - Bastille - All This Bad Blood: Pompeii

"Pompeii" is the first song on this 25 track album, and has become the band's biggest worldwide hit so far. As soon as the chanting begins, I guarantee that many listeners would find themselves very intrigued and immediately drawn in to Bastille's music. As the drums kick in and the energy rises, the listener finds himself on a sonic adventure: a catchy melody infused with a rougher, alternative twist. In addition, the topic of an ancient city as a song's theme is extremely unique, and makes you wonder what other creative ideas will come later in the album. After this irresistible hit song finishes, you definitely want to continue listening to All This Bad Blood.
14. SailorMoon - Kacey Musgraves - Same Trailer, Different Park: Follow Your Arrow

Listen to the album track and you'll be sucked in to the album. The track has a soothing, relaxing production that makes you wonder what the rest of the album sounds like. But the song's main attraction is its clever lyrics which gives shoutouts to popgirls like Katy Perry and Rihanna. Any pop culture fanatic would be curious and check out if the album has more popgirl shoutouts.
16. dimitrius - Cher Lloyd - Sorry I'm Late: Sirens

Cher Lloyd's new album Sorry I'm Late is definitely a more mature and personal reflection of her life and who she is as an artist. One of the best and most irresistible song on her album is unarguably 'Sirens'. This song is a perfect representation of her entire album - catchy lyrics, infectious beats, relatable meanings, and a more mature feel, whilst still keeping the lively aspects dashed around. While 'Sirens' has all the previous mentioned qualities, I chose this as the irresistible song because I think Cher has best managed to perfectly craft a balance between a more genuine reality of her life and the pop-y, singalong tune in this song; that'll please both those who were hesitant about her works and her already established fans. Playing along with the 'Irresistible' title, the 'Sirens' are bound to enchant you with the voice and music of the track.
I chose Cobbler for two reasons. Sonically, it has a really funky/dancy vibe, that most of the album doesnt have. I feel like that draws you to the song more, and has a great replay value. While not quite "mainstream", it still has that infectious hook. The MAIN reason I chose it though, is because of the lyrics. The album is about TOTALLY being in love with a guy. Being head over heals for a guy. Basically the guy is irresistable to you, and you cant have enough.
After much deliberation, I decided that there was one song that I had to go with, and that song is the lead single for Body Talk, Dancing On My Own. The stuttering, electronic ballad is a perfect representation of what Robyn does best: Combine heartbreak and loneliness with an infectious danceable beat. The lyrics of the song talk about Robyn seeing her lover with another woman, and how she dances the pain away. The song can be quite relatable to anybody who has ever been betrayed in a relationship, and is undeniably catchy too. If this was your first time hearing a Robyn song, I think it would be pretty hard not to give the album a listen!

I chose one of the Interludes, "Picture This" for the first challenge of the season. The objective was to select a track that best captivates the audience to listen to the album in full, which I feel "Picture This" does perfectly. Although it is not a full track, I believe that's an advantage - the short 1:16 track leaves you wanting more, after taking you through a transitional journey on the girls' perspective of a complicated, yet astounding situation in love. The sound of slow chimes, a suspended cymbal, and flute notes take you through a mystical, intimate experience. One of the lyrics include: "Picture this, after a thousand words said / We could never understand, what was in each other's heads," whispers Aubrey/D. Woods in emotional voices. Throughout the song, Dawn delivers incredible ad-lips, repeating many of the lines Aubrey/D. Woods speak. And that's what this album represents - the hurt, the joy, the high, the low and the meanings of love and life. So sit back, close your eyes, get comfortable - and really listen to the song. Now... would you like to explore the rest of Danity Kane's Dollhouse?
"Talking To Ghosts"
I chose this song because I think that it's one of the best intros ever and, in my opinion, it's important to have an amazing intro because it will make the people to go on with listening the album. I love the instrumentation in this song as it grows throughout the whole song.
This is a powerful ballad, which sets you for the sentimental tone of the album, it is timeless, beautiful, mature and personal, all at the same time, so after hearing this one, you will want to listen to the full album to see what Avril has in store for us with her album.
This Is A Catchy Summer Song that means to Party Hard, "We're Gonna Party Like it's 3012 Tonight". This song combines Pop/Dance/Rap Genres All In One, And It has the Legendary Queen Of Rap "Nicki Minaj".This is one of the most irresistible Songs on the Album "Believe", If You Listen To This Song, You Would Like To Listen To The Rest Of The Masterpiece
"Figure 8"
Track 6 on Halcyon Days, "Figure 8" is the most irresistible song on the album. The song is a mysterious and gloomy EDM anthem about relationship turmoil. While it was not on the rerelease, it entices the listener to discover both sides of Halcyon Days - the dark and somber side that was seen on the original Halcyon, and the chorus-driven and radio friendly rerelease that is Halcyon Days.
I chose All About Tonight, because I think that it’s a very catchy, dance pop song, and people love these kind of songs. I think that this song is irresistible, because when you hear one bop like this, you already want another, because it’s always nice to listen to catchy, relatable tunes. It’s a very great song about having fun and being young and a lot of young people can relate to that, for example myself. Because of this song I bought Pixie’s album, and I founded what I was looking for and even more.

I think DOUBLE RAINBOW is so irresistible because of the solemnity of the song. People can feel the emotions on both the rhythm and the vocals. And the most important reason why this song is so irresistible is it's lyrical content. DOUBLE RAINBOW is a love song which anyone could relate for. Most of the music listeners of this time are teenagers. And obviously on that stage of life, Love and Social Relationships takes place. And we all know base on the lyrics that DOUBLE RAINBOW is a song that could inspire the lives of many teenagers right now and even Adults too. DOUBLE RAINBOW is not an ordinary song but a song that could make everyone's lives better.

"Disturbia" has a hooking intro and one of Riri's catchiest choruses. Her strong and sexy vocals compliment Brian Kennedy's production amazingly. Upbeat, but lyrically dark in tone the song is an addicting piece of pop perfection and has surely helped Rihanna cement her superstar status.

For this first round, I chose "Don't Hold The Wall" , the clubby song from the first part of the album. Produced by Justin himself with Timbaland, the song, with strong R&B influences, is in my opinion one of the strongest tracks of the full album.
From my point of view, the song is irresistible because of the pseudo-indian sound, it's almost impossible to stand still, because the production is very addicting, like ATRL says, a "bop", a bop with quality tho. Later on the track, when the breakdown kicks in, the song becomes darker, and drums and bass take over. Genius to be honest. "Well, how'd you like it?"
iHypeMusic's Entry
For this round I chose Usher's "Yeah!". The song is irresistible as hell, because the crunk beginning from the start. It perfectly describes 2004 (the year the song and album was released) without a doubt. Many other artists used the same crunk beat such as Ciara with "Goodies" in the same year. Also, the song is irresistible because it was such a huge hit everyone loved. It was the #2 Song of the Decade in US, and the #1 song of the 2004 year. The video is also interesting, and the rappers spice up the song even more.
Tik Tok is one of the biggest and best selling pop songs in history. Why? Because it truly is irresistible. Tik Tok marked the beginning of a new dance craze and the start of Kesha's career. The beat is infectious, the lyrics are catchy, what's not to love?
For this challenge, I will be using the first single and one of the sickest songs on the album, Problem.
Problem has it all: the lyrics are sick, the beat is thumping, the clapping is insane, the voice saying "Goddamn Problem", That Third Verse....Problem has it all.
Also, Problem along with every song on the album is based on true life experiences with Problem being about her and a bad boyfriend who still dared to break the rules and cause serious chaos (and damage) because of their "love".
The song ends on a very sexual note as well, you can literally hear Natalia moaning along with the sweet sweet whistle-ish "whoo whoo whoo whoo", giving the song the sexual aggressiveness it needs as well.
Is it just me or this song just makes you feel very badass?? Yup! It does!!
Heavy Instruments, Harsh yet Sweet Sounds, Aggressiveness, Sexiness ----- A Different Irresistible Sound found only with Kills and it is heavily represented in PROBLEM
The fourth single off the critically acclaimed B'Day, Beautiful Liar peaked at number one on over 14 charts including the United Kingdom. A collaboration anyone can appreciate, Liar gave both Beyoncé and Shakira two of their biggest hits, still to this day. These two superstars blended the genres they're best known for, Latin pop and R&B to create this masterpiece anyone could listen to. Recorded in '06 and released in '07, if you ask anyone today about this song, they'll consider it to be one of the biggest hits from both artists. The two girls even were awarded a VMA in 2007 for "Most Earthshattering Collaboration"
You remind me of a boy who once left me destroyed Ashleigh recalls in the opening lines of the first song i ever heard from Hey Ocean!. Initially about lost/unrequited love; a theme I and my fellow atrl's alike can surely relate to but instead of lingering, it departs from the sadness and accompanied with a medley of strings and horns delivers a message of hope and new beginnings. A perfect introduction to IS conceptually as well as musically I hope it has the same effect on you as it did I especially while listening to the infectious chorus you're sure to "Make A New Dance Up" as you bop to this feel good uplifting tune for anyone who thought they'd never dance again.
The thing that makes M.I.A. so unique is her distinct musical style that, truly, no one can pull off in the same way as she. Occasionally crossing over to mainstream audiences with some music, the right M.I.A. song will get anyone jamming out. "Bad Girls" is the prime example on Matangi: from the R&B-infused Danja beat to the one-liner lyrics to the iconic music video (see below, it was nominated for VMA video of the year), "Bad Girls" is certainly quite difficult to resist.

It's like Samba and Tango had a baby and made me shake my hips like they only speak the truth! (*nods to Shakira*)! It took three singles in to get this out of her, but I'm so glad because it's easily one of the most irresistible songs off the album!
36. Pablo - Britney Spears - Blackout: Break The Ice

“It's been a while, I know I shouldn't have kept you waiting, but I'm here now”. Let’s be honest, who could resist a track that begins with Miss Spears, Comeback Queen, saying that? That’s right, no one. “Break the Ice” combines Britney’s sexy and soft vocals with a delicious Electro-R&B beat, some outstanding backing-vocal production and a very hypnotic brigde, all to create a catchy and irresistible song. Besides driving you crazy (reference!) for more addictive beats, this track invites you to give the album a listen through its lyrics, as Britney sings “Let me break the ice, allow me to get you right, let you warm up to me”. It’s almost like she’s saying “Let me help you get ready darling, cause you’re about to listen to the album of the decade”. This song should be the first track on Blackout, it’s the perfect opening to it, specially with that intro.

God damn it, now I feel insecure as **** about my entry
I literally followed the seven line rule but then there are others that just go over it to just go over the top with the decorations and ****. Like, god ****ing damn it
OFF
Iggy Azalea (the lyrics included make it go over 8 lines)
Ellie Goulding (you made the right choice, but if you're going to post a huge ass photo that causes your entry to not be completely seen by the voters, I can't support you this round).
Danity Kane (you went over the 7 line limit, plus no one is going to want to listen to the album after an interlude. The stupidest choice I've ever seen in the six seasons I've played this game).
Paris Hilton (I can't take your essay or entry seriously when you're saying that Paris is showing off her vocals )
Beautiful Liar (I always thought Shakira clashed horribly with Beyoncé's vocals. This wouldn't make me want to listen to the album. I think you should've picked Freakum Dress, Get Me Bodied or Green Light)
Double Rainbow (Katy's album has two different sides to it. If this was the introduction to the album, it would be misleading).
SAVE
Tik Tok (perfect choice)
Break the Ice (definitely a good choice. The beat alone is addictive, especially the breakdown).
Disturbia (Perfect choice. )
Lea Michele (Your entry went over the 7 line limit. You chose the right song and made all the right points but I can't save someone that went over 7 lines when almost all the other members managed to do seven lines)
I did seven sentences/lines? It's just that my entry is a smaller font and is more bunched up.
