Yeah my grandmother is like that. Thats why you get some many atrlers asking if Rihanna and Beyonce are mixed. People like your mom and grandmother are only considered fully black in the US. If what I've been reading is correct.

As light-skinned as she is, my mom has never been the one to cling to the little bit (or large chunk) of White in her. She is quite proud to be Black and considers herself fully Black.

She said she was so overjoyed to have a nice BROWN baby like me.

You're definitely West African. Most U.S blacks are. I can tell by the wide nose, very full lips and narrow eyes. I'm assuming you have kinky hair based off of that too. Could the same be said for Africans? (no shade, this is a legit question) Some think we are uneducated and dumb, but shouldn't they be aware of the historical reasons as to why many AA's don't have that great of an education compared to others?
