Why am I not surprised that you're saying this? Those people are ignorant just like you. They don't know good pop music. Late 80s and 90s Madonna was a force to be reckoned with. She has made quality albums which received massive critical acclaim and had huge sales. Erotica was even ahead of its time. That alone is now seen as something only Madonna could've done... and she did.

You're missing the point yet again! JESUS ****ING CHRIST! How many times do I have to explain Erotica's influence on the pop girls and the pop industry as a whole?

Madonna has always been flirting with her sexuality in the 80's, but she broke the ultimate taboo with Justify My Love and the whole Erotica album. Basically everything you see on the telly right now from Rihanna to Katy from Gaga to Britney is caused by that album. It's OK now to show lots of skin or have obvious sexual stuff in your songs. Even the performances by these girls are influenced by that era. Erotica is nothing to be ****ed with.

No one remembers it, but we all see it now. It had lots of backlash back then, because people weren't ready for it. Now it's everywhere You guys can call me anti-pop all you want, but I know my stuff.
