I reall miss the magic The Sims 1 and 2. Makin' Magic was the pinnacle tbqh. Dueling Vicki Vampiress, turning your dog into a human, spotting Xtina in Superstar Land, marrying a townie for the friends to get that last job promotion... The list goes on and on
Okay, I can't find it, so I must have imagined it. I swear I remember someone having a breakdown because their preorder went missing! Maybe it was on ModTheSims?

The Sims 4 so far looks like it's going to be the series' Bionic era.
Gurl bye with this shade in a Sims thread. More like the Artpop era.
Did you see that they aren't even making a 64 bit executable? So if you have more than 4 GB of RAM it won't use the extra RAM. Can't wait for that lagg and freezing in about 3 EPs.

The absolute MESS this game is going to be when it leaks! Giving me Artpop leaking in Japan teas and it's not even out yet. We all gonna be banned for talking about it before it's street date.
Now that I think about it, the whole toddler lifestage seems kinda unnecessary and, dare I say, obsolete in TS4. After all, those of you who will miss that feature will be pleased learn that in TS4 your even your adult sims will be able the throw toddler-like tantrums thanks to the incredibly sophisticated emotional range they've incorporated into gameplay. And what's more, someone will probably create a CC diaper that you can use on your perpetually infantile sim! Weirder stories, yo!

It's not all doom and gloom. I wish you guys would give TS4 a chance. At least wait until you've installed the game on your 32 bit, Windows XP, desktop (per the offical specs) before you write it off! If you don't like it, you can just reinstall TS2 on the same system. (Not sure about TS3, tbh.) Just stop your bitching, ok?!

Are your sims spoiled little rich bitches, or are they the sort of respectable people who own cowplants and only travel outside of their 5 lot neighborhood in order to attend church and give those simoleons to the good Lord Maxis? Maybe the good Lord will provideth a pool in a later expansion, but that will only come with faithful devotion to Him and lots of prayer.
Older computers use 32 bit machines. Newer machines are 64 bit which allowed them to support more than 4 Gigabytes of RAM. Since the game is only being developed as 32 bit, anyone who has more than 4 GB of RAM will only use 4 GB for the game. Just go to Wiki for RAM (Random Access Memory) to see why more RAM is good for good game performance.

I remember when TS3 beta leaked
That mess was even more glitchy
Basically it won't use up the memory that you could be using for it to make it run better and work faster. The regression is truly real.
Like they have to be smarter than this! Sims games usually last 4-5 years, so down the line especially with EPs and stuff, do they really think a 4 GB RAM limit in 2019 will be a good idea with 10 EPs installed?
Complete mess. I have never illegally downloaded anything to do with The Sims, I've bought every expansion pack there is since Sims 2 because I love the series and want to support it.
But this... it just doesn't sound like something I actually want to spend money on.
