5) She released a dark , demented ballad like Russian Roulette as lead single
6) She shunned everyone with a diverse loud and proved she can get critical acclaim and sales both
7) She mainstreamed fusion of dance music and urban (Not my word but david guetta's)
8) Again in 2011 she mainstreamed EDM in america with WFL
9) She has been constantly improving on her vocals
10) Collaborating with people who bring the best out of her and vice versa and it doesn't matter to her if they are successful or not ( Calvin (Pre WFL) , Mikky ekko , Future etc )

Do you need anymore reason ?

In this competitive business only writing your own songs doesn't cut it anymore . You have to be alert about what's news , what kind of music has a potential to be huge , who are the right people to collaborate with

And at the end of it all she is not doing this for the awards , this is who she is

If the 28+ Katy's music is so childish then why is she the most successful pop girl ever on adult radio formats?
