There was a budget. It doesnt matter if it was from Beyonces, Columbia's or Pepsi's pocket to put together the album and for promo.
And traditional album release promo includes live performances, music videos, iTunes banners and ads.
But in this case Beyonce and her team put together all the videos, had iTunes banners all week. Ads everywhere. And all these websites and blogs that almost simultaneously posted info about the album.
That was not coincidental. They had to pay for that.
And with respects to the Pepsi deal. You think PepsiCo just handed Bey 50 million dollars.
