Bye Emotions deserves to be #1 despite the fact that I rarely use the entire CD, it immerses me into a different reality when I do. Mariah ha vocals. Mariah ha inspirational songs. Mariah, ha ability to convey every emotion on the spectrum both vocally and lyrically

Butterfly obviously deserves a spot in my trinity because it is one of her best albums. Songs like My All Breakdown Whenever You Call simply wont be found on other basic albums, no artist can beat Mimi.

E=MC2 rounds out my trinity because it is Mariah at her most comfortable. Shes funny(TMB, Love Story), she's sassy (Migrate, Cruise Control), introspective and emotional (Thanx 4 Nothin, For The Record), but she still manages to put a classic spin on the record by including timeless songs( Bye Bye, I Wish You Well).

1. Honestly all of her albums are perfect
2. Emotions is my least used album BUT as you stated it does fully immerse who ever listens. The singles were the best songs except The Wind and AYDR (i still think it would have smashed)
3.e=mc2 is (although it gets so much hate) one of her most fun albums. so it deserves to be up there. i wouldnt put it in the top three. but ask me after i listen to it and i just might. like i said every album is really good. you just have to take in to consideration, the time the album came out and what she was going through, her vocal state,,, ect.
