What's the point of releasing an album when even the biggest album only sells 3-4 million at best
When you factor in the $$ for music videos, performances, promo etc
and that's the King James version, which is like, God's iPad.
All that was PUNCHED out by Christ's fulfillment of the Law via substitutionary atonement:
Quote:
" But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound,
so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter."
-- Romans 7:6
Quote:
"When He said, 'A new covenant,' He has made the first obsolete.
But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear."
-- Hebrews 8:13
In the digital age, that is mediocre. Especially considering the promo and his supposed fanbase.
Were you expecting him to have 5 7x Platinum singles or?...
Nothing was mediocre. He was coming off huge backlash with "Baby" and being the most hated artist in the world and still managed to have his most successful single era yet, and go Platinum along with #1 in 17 countries (Katie ain't doing it despite all those successful singles!).
If 'Believe' is mediocre, then definitely so is 'PRISM' considering her fanbase and the era she came off of.
