I believe in God myself but it doesn't change the fact that there are many evidence that SUPPORTS the theory of evolution.
The religious rhetoric doesn't help anyone's case since it doesn't actually disprove evolution. Belief does not imply comprehension. Saying that you believe God made everything as it is is an untenable position to argue, since God cannot be proven to be true in a scientific manner. Whereas science has facts to support its position.
Where did I say law of gravity is a theory?it's obvious that you've not been paying attention,so I won't bother repeating my self again.
I used it as an example based of what you previously said. You said something about evolution being a theory so I just added that to bring some perspective into our discussion. This discussion is over if you don't want to re clarify what your arguments are. I said I am listening and you say I'm not so what can I do? I'm trying to have a civilized debate with your about this topic but you're making it hard because you simply can't just restate what you think the flaws are of the evolution theory.
Even in Bulgaria,a pure excuse for country,we never studied about creationism.Everything we studied was scientifically proven.I'm shocked to hear that for USA.And UK is kinda late.
Just as you all have every right not to refer to my previous post,I also have the right to refuse to repeat myself.I have decided to move on from this issue of evolution because it makes no sense at all,so continue if you like.
Any way I still maintain that atheist are guilty of the same thing they are accusing religious people of doing,I.e forcing their ideas on people,if you realy believe in free thinking you'll not see the need is "banning" an opposing idea,no matter how stupid you think it is,in the spirit of free thinking why not allow people choose which sides to take? It's hilarious that people think that atheism is a solution to the problems of religion, failing to understand that in the end we are all humans prone to making Judgements on people who do not share a similar view or idea with us.Just like religion, atheism has it's own problems as well.
obviously we can never know how exactly the world was formed, but evolution has been proven to be the most logical and probable explanation for how we came to be how we are today. Theres nothing to say that you cant believe in both- a creator formed the world and evolution brought it to how it is today- but its just that, a belief.
Religion should be taught in lessons to give students a broad understanding of what people in the world believe, but creationism should never be seriously taught as a possible explanation for the beginning of the world.
Banning creationism isnt banning religion or persecuting religious people, its removing the harmful, biased influence that christianity has had on the west's education system for far too long. Stopping people forcing their beliefs on others is not the same as imposing your beliefs on others.
Slimsexy, gurl Let's call a spade a spade, you're obviously religious and don't want to accept evolution, in spite of the overwhelming evidence in favor of it, and lack of evidence supporting any alternative. Let's stop couching it in this "I said there were flaws somewhere in this 15 page thread, but I won't take two seconds to repost them!" nonsense. If there were flaws you were confident in, you'd just repeat them once now that you have our attention; obviously there aren't, so you're just hiding in the comfort of hoping no one will go digging for every single one of your posts in this thread, while closing your eyes to every valid rebuttal being posted... And taking refuge in this "I'm so victimized and ganged up on, let me repeat it 268456561 times even though i said I wouldn't repeat myself!" in spite of the fact that people have been perfectly polite in this debate until now.
You're literally spamming the same post at this point. Not to mention going off topic. This is science/evolution vs creationism, NOT atheism vs religion. There are plenty of prominent scientists and other educated people who accept evolution while still believing in their religion, either adopting an "intelligent design" stance, or taking things in their religious texts metaphorically, etc. Having religious beliefs isn't exclusive to creationists.

Prove it to me scientifically that I am religious?I never went off topic, rather I was just responding to the atheist in this thread,so one thing led to another,I'm suprised your science couldn't help you reach this basic conlusion.

How is creationism harmful the society?you basically forming faulty generalisation based on your experience with some religious people, you have to realise that people practicing religion are not perfect neither are those people calling for it's abolition. In case you don't know banning something like creationism is also an attempt to force atheism down peoples throats,so in the end you are just as guilty as the religious people.

I didnt say creationism was harmful, I said forcing religion on children is harmful.
Banning creationism isnt forcing atheism down anyones throat... its stopping creationism from being imposed on people. Atheism isnt a belief, its lack of belief and everyone should be taught without religious influence and allowed to decide that privately.
When will religious people realise that stopping them from imposing their beliefs on children is not an infringement on their rights... Obviously we've hit a nerve here with you and you arent going to change your mind so maybe you should take a step back.
