So true! I will give her the most credit because when she starts a project, she wants inspiration and seeks inspiration first. Unlike a Britney Spears record where there is no life to and behind the music.

But hopefully she has covered the "love" route. Funhouse was about break up and TTAL is about all the shades of love, so now hopefully she is out of that s***. I would LOVE an album that was about all the problems of the world today. Like I'm Not Dead but more extended on the topic, if you catch my drift.

This need to happen !! She can cover topics like

1) American foreign policies to intervene in everyissue
2) Animal Shelter
3) Women rights (Not in a feminism but in a more liberating way .. She should right a song by the perspective of a third world feminist who is stil struggling for rights not only due to societal pressure but the rigid government )

that would be really good, but i kinda want more of her introspective sounds. lonely girl, my vietnam, gone to california (she kinda covered social issues and her own in this one pretty well), when we're through, dear diary, free, etc. i'm much more drawn to those types of songs tbh.

After the filming of Thanks For Sharing (and after the release I think?) there were numerous articles going around about Gwenyth bad mouthing P!nk, saying she was terrible to work with and a dirty woman. Apparently Alecia was upset about it, she was inspired for a new song etc etc. I don't think it was true but considering there were numerous articles and by judging how much of a total cow Gwenyth is, I wouldn't be surprised.

Yes! I was listening to 4 Non Blondes' 'Bigger, Better, Faster, More!' the other day and it is a masterpiece. Terribly underrated and some of the songs I think would be amazing for Alecia!

She should work with Ben gibbard. He is the front man of Death Cab for Cutie . He writes a lot of introspective songs about love and lost ... He can really bring out the best song from her

I always imagined the video in my head of her being in this rustic acidic looking factor with huge chimneys and smoke coming out of it and her walking on a narrow bridge between two of these huge chimney in her nightie and then at the end of the song jumping in to it

i would love if Pink and Sia worked together. I think she just has this tragic vibe or something, she is great, i bet they would come up with something amazing. Also, she has kinda similar voice to Pink's imo.

Back in the day, Grenno wrote an ENTIRE SCRIPT for the video to "Funhouse" (before the actual video came out).

It was simply amazing. Like, a WHOLE script with details about the set and everything!

it needs some serious revising and rewriting before i post it again and i'm sure people aren't interested in it anyway. also, i think it was only like 8 pages long. so not feature film length, but only a script for a music video that's a little longer

oh i can remember the moment when i wanted to write it! it was the first time we ever heard funhouse, the first time she performed it at that surprise concert in munich back before the funhouse album came out. it just sounded so crazy and scary and rocky! and i thought i'd give her the role of the egghead nerd, the goodie two shoes cause she always complained about getting those scripts where she's the prostitute or runaway or something like that haha
