I stand by my point. Both artists within their given times of impact are very well known. Is their a possible question of level of global I'm defining, yes. But truly these two artists from the thread I am referencing have some comparison worth discussing in terms of their impact.
besides the Beatles had very much less mediums of exposing their work in music. With an artist like Selena Gomez, with the internet essentially connecting the world with all sorts of events and music, Selena's music can be reached all throughout the world as well.
In an odd way, I think these two artist's biggest hits can be comparable
