Her last album only sold 400k. And she came to the UK and promoted a lot over here. Not to mention the sales of the singles were not good at all.
This is between Britney and Leona. You people under-estimate Britney's selling power in the UK. Both POM and GM peaked high in the charts and sold very well.
Let's see if Britney promotes in the UK. According to Popjustice ( very credible site) she will do some promotion internationally. I would love it if she came to the UK.

She is going up against Leona Lewis who is HUGE in the UK. And Britney Spears who, despite not even promoting, her first 2 singles off Blackout sold around 200k in the UK and were bigger hits than Christina's first 2 singles off B2B.

I just need to have to put in my input which was previously ignored. Britney is a singles artist in the UK, and Christina is an albums chart. Britney has never had a #1 album in the UK, Christina has. And although Christina has only had 1 of them go to #1, Stripped made up enough sales to count as two #1 albums. Both are majorley popular in the UK. If there was a poll of the top 10 female singers of all time. Britney & Christina would definitely make an impression on the chart. Although both have been around for nearly 10 years, Leona is starting to become a huge success, and as someone has already mentioned, Forgive Me will be getting huge promotion from The X Factor and she will be promoting all over the UK. And thought I'd mention too, Leon Jackson's song would be out the previous week, so his song is likely to be #1? So it's hard to say what's gonna happen. I can't see Britney or Christina going to number one.
