I usually disagree with K-Pop fans on their assessments of American pop culture, but one thing I do like is the idea of American live music shows/a psuedoTRL-reboot. I'd probably consistently watch it each week and artists would want to use it as promo, it's a win/win. It'd have to drop the whole music video integration thing, and probably have no awards system, but it'd still be interesting to watch a modern-day American Bandstand. (Or maybe Billboard could do it and announce the Hot100 Top10 during the show? idk)
Of course, there'd probably be mostly smaller acts on there most of the time, (Austin Mahone, Becky G, Fifth Harmony, etc.) but when the tour dates align, I guess bigger acts could perform. I've also seen the idea tossed around of live music shows broadcasted online, as opposed to on a major network. That'd be pretty grand, too.

Been saying this for years. Simon Cowell and Fueller were supposed to launch one several years ago but didn't. Hopefully they pick it back up. If anyone can make it work, it's them.
