I like Beyonce and her voice is nice, but she is not in the same league. I haven't seen a Beyonce vocal performance where I was completely blown away at her ability like I have for Mariah, Whitney, Celine, and Kelly and Christina (even though she oversings lots of the time). She is solid, but is missing the spark to really connect with the audience.
Her vocal agility and control over all parts of her huge range, her musicianship, and the fact that she innovated the use of the whistle register+was the first to sing in the "whisper" register make her much more superior. Beyonce is technically skilled of course, but she does not even come close.
