The only thing that seems like an upgrade is CaS (minus the removal of CaSt; that alone is stupid) and the general idea of actual emotions added. Everything else seems so... Stupid.

The only thing that's gotten major flack that I'm okay with is the hair. It might seem like a downgrade from TS3 hair, but it's not awful. I like it. Everything else seems so cartoony, though, and it's making nervous for the game.

I'll probably still buy it, though.

my legacy heiress (3rd gen) just finished university (and omg that was like the glitchiest thing ever, I had to download a mod so she could graduate sims 3 sux) and is back home to get started on the 4th gen. this is the first time i've ever reached the 4th generation

Anybody know what the requirements are?

I want to buy it but I need to know if my ancient computer can run it.

Debug Enabler by Twallan/nraas has a mod. As far as cheats go? I don't think so.

If there's a cheat it's TestingCheatsEnable True, but I don't know if there's an option for instant degree

I used the debug enabler to make my sim graduate (but she did go through university, the game was just a glitchy mess), so you should be able to make them graduate without attending.

Basically you download the mod, click on the sim > nraas > debug > (something): smartphone > academic degree

University is such a MESS. One time my sim went into a sorority and the house caught on fire like 3 times a day and like 4 people died during that semester University is cute for like 10 seconds and then it's just bleh. Same with TS2.

yeah, university is the pits it gets old really quick (especially when you have to work your ass off to make it work because it's so damn glitchy). the third worst EP (after world adventures and into the future).

It's sooo glitchy. Like if my sim wasn't studying her little progress bar or whatever would just continuously drop even when she wasn't supposed to be in class. I hope if there's a University expansion in TS4 that it is shorter and easier

Thanks for the replies guys but I found my way to cheat me to a B Degree

Using Testingcheatsenabled True I got myself 50000 Lifetime Happiness and bought a honorary degree.
No more Uni for me

My sims skipped so many classes because the doors were blocked by other sims.

I did the same!
I was so obsessed with the Goths. And Don Lothario & the Calientes.
I usually would only play them and every time they were about to turn into elders, I'd make them younger again.
