The fact that Mileena is iconic and isn't dead makes her more of a candidate than most people who were in MK9.

Like a previous poster said, the story can **** all the way off if everyone is gonna keep getting ressurected. Yeah, it happened before, in the ****ing 90's. This is an opportunity for a new wave of characters, they have a lot of mk4- characters to introduce, and by Ed saying it's about "next generation" AND the variety of new characters we're seeing, AND it being dark and gritty, it's clear that MKX is here to reinvent the franchise

As much as I hate to admit it, you're totally right.
I love Stryker, Kabal, Smoke and Jax, but sometimes if you love someone you have to let ha go.

Exactly
And at the moment, Mileena is the character who makes the most sense coming back.
She was a key person in Shinnok's invasion and ha face remains young and fresh(other than dem teeth) because of ha Edenian genes.
Also, she didn't die(unlike a certain someones  )

Some of you guys take this story thing to serious. This isn't a soap opera its a fighting game at its core! Don't get me wrong, the MK story is important to the series to a certain point. However at the end of the day it will always be a fighting game first. Characters will come and go(even if they die in the story!

Who were the new Deception characters? I remember all of them being trash.. Deadly Alliance roster wasn't great either.
