I posted this on the blog section but it looks like no one goes there so I'm gonna try the lambily instead.
I met this guy last week who is totally funny, smart, and freaking gorgeous. I was quite smitten with him as he was with me.
The only thing is, he is quite older than me. Not as old as my dad (that's my upper limit) but twice my age (I'm 20, he's 41.) I like him a lot but wonder if I should go on a relationship with him.
Lambily chanteuses, have you been in a similar situation? I want to hear from you about the experience. Did it work out? What should I expect?

I'm feeling you. Even though my boyfriend is only one year older than me I have a thang for a little bit older guys And my first two boyfriends were quite a biT older, too.
20 years is quite a difference but if you like him and he likes you – then why shouldn't you be together? You will only know if it works out when you try. The main thing is you care for each other. And when you do that's wonderful
There is one thing to consider when you are in a relationship with someone older than you. You should be able to have experiences on your own. Sometimes (!) the older one tends to patronize and say stuff like, "You will agree with me when you get older". That is something you should not let do to you because then he'd hold the age difference against you which is simply unfair. Ask Mariah, the good sis can sing a true song about it.
