I'm just glad GameFreak confirmed what we all already knew, that Steven is the best champion from Hoenn and the most relevant character of the two by far.
And since this is almost confirmed to have Ruby's/Sapphire's original plot (as evidenced by the different evil teams depending on the version) with maybe some things from Emerald and other completely new features, Steven being the Champion (as it's supposed to be) is becoming more and more likely with each update!
