It's very simple - Adele is more mature(not saying the other way around is bad) and more important she has more mature audience. Also she's not in tabloids all the time like Taylor.

Am I lost? Taylor's image isn't bad in the world? She's not hated either. Adele's music suits a more adult audience in my opinion. It's tailored that way too, no pun intended.

There's more to Taylor's discography than WANEGBT and 22, but no need in repeating this over and over again to the same exact person

That's a really superficial, uneducated and narrow-minded way of judging her music. She has more than one song, you know, you simple choose to pick one of her bad songs to put her discography in negative light and it's just not working, you know.

Adele's music isn't more mature than Taylor's because she sings 'soul' and isn't pretty and skinny like Lord.

Taylor Her single choices really are the pits 
But I feel like if She sang "Someone Like You" people would've dismissed it as "another song where She whines about a boy" rather than it being a beloved smash hit. Taylor just can't win.

This is amazing, how many people call Taylor mediocre after having listened to probably 2-3 songs from her discography, including her pop singles. As usual, ATRLers are experts of everything, posting like crazy despite having no idea about someone's accomplishments. Please listen to Taylor's discography, songs like Last Kiss, Enchanted, Long Live, State of Grace or All Too Well, before you post insults like: "Adele writes mature lyrics, while Taylor writes We Are Never Ever...". This is pathetic, not to mention you are lying and showing a total ignorance. Both Taylor and Adele are completely different and thank God ATRL does not reflect what the GP thinks. Taylor sells out her tour which means people still love her. No one is naive enough to believe what media say about her relationships

If you ask to someone who doesn't know Adele's age, he/she will say that she is 29-30
That's not a bad thing, she is really beautiful, but she does look way older than taylor
And Taylor has been famous since she was 16, what makes people think about both of them in a different way
And taylor's most famous songs are not her more mature at all
if they all take some minutes to listen to her masterpieces it would be different
Even with all of that they're both really respected, Taylor is still respected, people think she is more mature than others like avril or katy and she is like 6 years younger
