She is musician, composer, songwriter, singer, record producer, etc but not a f'n pop star!

Yes, she is intelligent, extremely intelligent, but she's not arrogant.
She easily can and often does adopt to the level of others (eg in interviews) not to make them feel silly and ignorant.

Ugh, the ignorance in this thread. Being intelligent doesn't necessarily equate with knowing things (e.g. art facts, science etc) and the IQ test's validility is debateable.

I think Gaga is really smart although her mind is foggy. It's hard for her to focus and be consistent. A lot of intelligent people have this problem, along with depression.

Lbr tho, every popstar that makes it in this buisness is smart, even Britney.

Do people even know how IQs are calculated? It's in no way correlated with success in anything.

Also, the notion that dropping out of college or arts college means one isn't too bright is hilarious. Where do people get this stuff? There's a readily available list of college dropout billionaires. I'm pretty sure they know their ****. Arts majors have a high dropout/major change rate because often times a degree isn't needed to pursue the arts. That or people realize it isn't for them, etc. I think Gaga did fine

This isn't the case for lady gaga though. I agree that she's emotionally fragile but she also has a below average IQ.

From the mis-hap is saying her asthetic was inspired by the venus de milo instead of the birth of venus to talking about how in elizabethan times art was for the upper class only (when it was the opposite) through to her irresponsible one liners like "pop stars don't eat" "98 million dollars of coccaine was found in my purse"

I'm sure her fans on here would like to think her eccentric behhavior is due to that unorthodox genius some of the greatest artists have had but it's not the case.

I've heard worse coming out of other people's mouths but you wouldn't hear me saying they have a "below average IQ".

If Gaga has a below average IQ, having read many of her essays, then the post I'm quoting has to be the work of someone with a very dull IQ. I'd say a 49, seeing as we're throwing out assumptions like idiots. Ironic, I know. Not nice, is it?

There was also no research required aside from watching the interviews. I already knew the information about art and history that she didn't.

I already know what my IQ is so I'm not concered at all by your comment. You see, It's neither "not nice" or "nice" - you don't mean anything to me.

Er, there are many reasons people struggle in school. "Not being too bright" is only one of like a billion other reasons.

And really, if we're going to go there, let's look at some of Gaga's peers and see how they did in college. I mean, Katy and Kesha both dropped out of high school and most of the rest didn't even attend college. What do you think that says about them, then?
