No REAL gamer would be caught dead with a Mac. This is a fact.
Gaming on PC revolves around being able to upgrade your PC without buying a new (massively overpriced) model every year.
I think Windows 8 is the pits, but I may try it eventually if I can't get this worked out
Well duh!!! But real gamers also have extremely expensive computers with the best graphics chips and processors to accommodate the games and make the experience better.
You should upgrade though. My old PC was like that until I actually upgraded things including the OS.
This reminds me of the good ole days during WWII, where I would sit around the fire place with my cat and I would pet her while the transistor box played this song. It would remind me of my husband who was drafted into the war, I would pray for him to come back alive

Windows 7 has no reputation for being unstable. I highly doubt that it is responsible for the crashes.
