Lightning Rod makes him immune to electric and powers him up if he gets hit by it.

Switch in from a Gyarados or something and sweep.

Well at least Lightning Rod will make M-Sceptile immune to Thunder Wave. And it's already immune to Stun Spore thanks to being a Grass type. It'll be nearly impossible to paralyze it now, which is good for a fast Pokemon.

There will certainly be more megas, they'll just be revealed later. And who said Diancie will be in the game? I'm guessing she's just gonna be distributed with her mega stone.
