Yes the GP enjoys, I'm not trying to say she sells more than Taylor it hasn't been selling in massive amounts but it's been able to keep selling.

I only like a few of Taylor's songs. Most of them aren't mature enough for me to really get into so I am hoping that she steps it up with her next album. I really don't know if people will take her singles series when you have Adele releasing at the same time, too.

I hate pulling out receipts but to be able to pull such a wide audience, starting out with country and branching out to pop and worldwide so unexpectedly on a brand new indie label that had absolutely no indsutry cred until she was signed with music she had written and playing her own instruments I mean she must have something. I mean she mailed her debut single herself with her mom at age 16 to country stations and drove herself to do interviews and the song ended up going platinum and its album going 5x platinum and pulling Grammy for AOTY not even 2 years later.

Yes, a lot of other people can write songs, play guitar/piano and perform. And that's why there are many unsigned and signed artists doing that, yet Taylor stills have wayyyyyy more success than all of them. She has something different - more - than other people. Those who deny that are ignorant tbh, no "normal" signer-songwriter manages to sell as many albums as Taylor.
