Admittedly, Ariana is a better vocalist - however, it's one thing having a brilliant technique, and it's another thing being a musician. I study music at University and the amount of technically brilliant instrumentalists/singers is crazy, but they don't actually feel what they're playing, it's almost robotic. Ariana blows most of the pop girls vocals, but that doesn't make her a true musician. Of course, it's all taste - they're both very different artists with very different intentions.

Taylor writes/produces her own music, so her overall musicianship and songwriting is far superior to Ariana's.
