You need to at least
ENTERTAIN the possibility that
UP is NOT modifying
TO. It could
JUST AS EQUALLY BE MODIFYING ****ED.
Rather than being "I slept with people till I was at the top" it would mean "I ruined my chances of being on top."
Do you see the difference? See how much weighs on that word? See how it can be an adverb AND a preposition?
It is a very important word in the title. We haven't heard it yet, so we can't conclusively know what it means. Stop dropping it out. Damn.
