I'm conflicted. I want to play TS2 but I only have the PC version, so I can't. I'm thinking of redownloading TS3 but I don't to risk ruining my new Macbook. That and the base game is so boring and I can't be bothered obtaining the other EPs.
Now I know that TS3 isn't really worth all that trouble with all the error codes it used to give me and the overheating. But I want to play so bad. Playing Sims was my summer ritual.
How long is y'all loading screen (for sims 3 ofc), not the initial mini one to actually start the game up, but the one where you load you neighborhood? Mine takes like 5-10 minutes.

Usually 30-45 minutes. Sims 2 takes one minute. Clearly we can tell which is the preferred (and likely better tbh) and better programmed/designed game.

I had every single set, hair, accessory, world, and bonus items from The Sims Store (illegally downloaded of course). Not to mention like 10 GB of mods.
But with The Sims 2, I have every store item, and 6 GB of mods and it loads in a minute.
Speaking of TS2, why can't I play it on my computer? It loads for 2 seconds and crashes? Is it because I have Windows 8?
OH you mean the actual launcher? yeah I recommend you press play very QUICKLY or play offline....it's been doing that for a while....and yeah windows 8 isnt the best to play sims 2, It only works better on windows 7..
There's one bad bit of CC in my sims 2 game that caused the game to crash after A few hours and with over 10,000 downloads I will never know which one
Luckily Sims 3 works perfectly fine, I need to get my computer fixed tho, Idk what's happened to it but if it requires more power it automatically cuts out now
So I'm trying to catch up with all the recent Sims 4 news. Everything about the game so far looks good.
Is the game really coming out September 2nd?

The little Kids in the game are going to be so adorable.
Here's hoping that their clothes end up being good.
