That's great of you and your opinion to think that! Good for you, Boop.

What is wrong with him?
To say that albums are outdated is ridiculous...

He likes to think futuristic and for him to think that with his brain is fantastic because he's built a robot, a car and more. If you think otherwise then, wow.

Well of course there's no point in putting out an album if you're a trash artist that relies on features to fill the tracklisting. I'm glad he's finally realised

It's not your saying to say if somebody is a 'trash artist' or not because you're not the one enjoying their music whilst others are. I'd gladly like to tell you to keep to your own faves' threads and comment in there rather than Will's thread because you clearly serve no purpose in here if you're complaining about his albums and his releases.

Such a dumb comment - check his singles and album sales.

Good luck I guess.

I hate the term "music" because it's music regardless if you like it or not and he's continuing to make the music that he's proud of regardless and if you don't like it, don't listen to him and don't bother clicking on thread's involving his name.

Hopefully because that album was great!

Of course he would say that. Suddenly the "concept" of an album is outdated when his album is failing to sell (yet again). Will he claim that singles are outdated when they inevitably stop selling?
|
He likes to evolve as a producer and vocalist but not only as that, but as an artist too - he made two albums as a solo artist and that's it, now he wants to do something different for himself and to possibly create something that other people will eventually do. Whether it will fail or not cannot be a prediction because he's taking a shot at it and we should all be wishing him the best. He's doing something which is evolving us music wise and you should be proud that somebody with such a powerful name in the music industry is taking his fame to do something different instead of releasing the generic album. Also, tell me WHEN his singles stop selling will you?

You should have no say in for what somebody else's career can or can't do because this makes him happy and obviously his fans too. For you to say that you wish that he wouldn't is utterly shameful of you because this could be the only thing keeping him alive as a person and it could be his only 'getaway' or 'safe haven' as he could secretly be troubled and depressed. Shame on you.

The ****? This, ladies and gentleman, is what the problem is with a lot of pop music/producers these days. Can't be bothered to want to craft a cohesive and strong body of work and would rather focus more on catering to short attention spans and quick fixes. I just can't.

No, just no.

You're right there due him publishing the album before clearing the samples on "Let's Go!", but that would be the only song which he had a problem with sampling wise - the rest of the samples featured on his album, "#willpower" were cleared - such as "Manhã De Carnaval by Luiz Bonfá" which was sampled on "Smile Mona Lisa", "Flowers Bloom by High Highs" which was sampled on "Good Morning", "Charleston! by Jazz Ensemble" which was sampled on "Bang Bang" and a few other silly samples such as Intel sound effects.

This is why I hate will.i.am. Quality of his music aside, he's toxic to the industry. He seems to support this out with the artistry and in with the quick buck concept that just bugs me to no end.

Disgusting that you can even say that you can hate a man you've never even met.

Lmfao will.i.am sis, speak for yourself.

Not quite because his music seems to be perfect for this generation due to it fitting the EDM, Pop and Dance trends which are happening as we speak.

And what exactly makes you think that he likes you? He doesn't even know you and you don't even know him properly, so that says enough within that topic of discussion.
