It’s almost fall, but hip-hop star Young Jeezy is on the rise.

One-day sales reports from retailers around this great, Sarah Palin country of ours have it pegged at 250k, which would make it an easy #1 on next Tuesday’s HITS Album sales chart.
New Kids on the Block are partying like it’s 1989, boasting a hot new Interscope comeback album, The Block, and sold-out tour, generating first-week estimates pegged at 115k, making it a virtual lock for Top 5, with an outside shot at #2 behind Jeezy.
Tooth and Nail rockers Underoath look to be in the 60-70k range, but Christian bookstore sales could push that total even higher.
Beach Boys grand old man Brian Wilson returns with That Lucky Old Sun, the successor to the legendary SMiLE, a Capitol/EMI song cycle tribute to his hometown L.A. whose upper-demo appeal could see it besting the estimated 40-45k if it can generate some brisk weekend sales.
Interscope viral rock sensation Hollywood Undead is showing some surprising strength, with first-week sales estimated at 20k, while the same figure is considered not good at all for Diddy’s latest discovery, Bad Boy/Atlantic Making of the Band 3 rocker Donnie Klang.

Jordin really should suppress downloads for "One Step At a Time" now. That would be an extremely smart move. Hopefully she could increase her album sales, even if only a tiny bit, and then in a few weeks when airplay is peaking she can put it back on iTunes, which would also help the song
Donnie is gonna feel left out, his album didn't hit number one then flop, it just flopped.
I bet both Donny and DK wish they signed with a real label that would promote them properly. I mean it doesn't make any sense. DK debuts with a #1 album so instead of maintaining the momentum they pretty much drop all promo. Bad Boy is no different than Hollywood records it seems.
