okay so this is probably missing plenty because I've got a DJ mind but
TVXQ - Rising Sun
SNSD - Genie
2NE1 - I Love You
BIGBANG - Heaven (??? debatable, maybe Haru Haru or Bad Boy)
Epik High - Fanatic (the remix of Fan) or Geomitjeul
H.O.T. - I Yah
SHINee - Romeo + Juliet I guess???? or Sherlock
Epik High - 1 Minute, 1 Second, a Little Memory
S.E.S - Twilight Zone
Lee Jung Hyun - Wa (or Neo/you, not the techno version though)
wait this is my first time seeing the video, and it's soooooo full of flagrant cultural appropriation but it's kind of incredible your fave's budget just can't cope
Mess though I couldn't even name my top 10 favorite Kpop songs, let alone all time.
same! I guess if i'm thinking right now, it would be :
TVXQ - Mirotic
Wonder Girls - Now
Lee Hyori - Hey Girl
Bi Rain - Rainism
2NE1 - I Am The Best
Psy - Gangnam Style
SISTAR - Loving U/SO COOL
Baek Ji Young - Hate
Girls Day - Expectation
4minute - Muzik/Hot Issue

Dark Horse HEW?
Tbh Lee Jung Hyun is my Korean version of Gaga I love her so much. Her discography although mostly electronic is so varied and conceptual. I wish the other Kpop girls could.
Does anyone know whatever happened to the artist Kil Gun? ( I don't think she ever got too big) She had a song called Shower and Shake it. Although I can't find a studio version of Shower anymore
My Fav top ten K-pop Songs
1. Seo Taiji and the Boys -Come back home
2. YG Family-Familliemum
3. GD-Coup D'etat
4. BIGBANG-Bad Boy
5. YGMA-What
6. Jinusean-Gasoline
7.Tablo-Dear TV
8.2NE1- I don't care (reggae)
9. SNSD-Genie
10. Tie Lee Hi-Special AKMU-Melted F(x) Shadow
Quote:
1. [+1,642, -111] From 2NE1 to AkMu and now Taeyang... YG's on a roll...
2. [+1,312, -139] 'Eyes, Nose Lips' is crazy. It's not a song that makes you go 'wow! daebak!' the first time you listen to it and get sick of later, it's the type of song that gets better the more you listen to it... Finally a song that you can loop without getting tired of it. Putting my bias aside, it's really good. I admit sometimes even I get tired of Big Bang songs but not this one.
3. [+1,072, -71] Tablo's lyric writing skills are an art form... 'Throw Away' deserves the praise. The melody isn't anything outstanding, it's actually average, but the lyrics are outstanding... Taeyang's voice itself isn't a style you get tired of so it works with a boring melody like that ㅋㅋ
4. [+213, -10] YG's really on a roll this year ㅋㅋㅋ All of their artists are lining up the charts. Psy's up next week, right? Winner and Big Bang rumors circulating as well and Epik High too... When's Lee Hi up?
5. [+204, -20] I'll give credit where it's due, the song's good
6. [+183, -10] It's the type of song where the more you listen to it, the meaning of it changes each time. There are a lot of slow songs which might make the album seem redundant but the lyrics and Taeyang's voice help change it up.
After School - Flashback
SNSD - Genie, Mr Mr
f(x) - Lachata
EXO - Growl, (too soon for Overdose?)
BAP - Warrior
2NE1 - Hate You
SuJu - It's You
SHINee - Sherlock, Hit Me
I've praised old school stuff since day 1 here but people usually aren't trying to hear it. Some of my favorite stuff of all time from kpop is from when everyone was either a gritty wannabe gangster rhyming over ridiculously good basslines, or a space princess...rhyming over ridiculously good basslines
In no particular order, and excluding Japanese songs:
Sleepless Night, SHINee
Implode, BoA
Arrows, SHINee
Go Away, 2NE1
You Walking Towards Me, Jinwoon
Voice Mail, IU
Lonely, 2NE1
Urban Green, Lim Kim
The Day Before, Nell
Missing You, 2NE1

Like that is the good stuff right there. Thats actually how I became so YG biased. Even though I grew up in the US in a pretty much all white neighborhood, my mom (african american) had an Seo Taiji and the boys album and I loved it and then she got me Jinusean self titled, 1TYM One Time For The Mind and Yanggoon-Yang Hyun Suk and I became hooked. Thats the real good stuff.
wait do you have access to that Yanggoon CD anywhere? I don't think I've ever been able to find it online and it's kind of...well
how to put this
hilarious but still good?
Like I bought a sealed copy of Famillenium and it's honestly a fantastic album front to back but thinking about it being the guy I've come to think of as ~~~the boss~~~ is funny, you know?
