I'd say Wolverine was the 4th main character in this movie, Mystique along with both Magnetos and Xaviers out shined him by a long way. He was pretty much completely missing from both climatic fights.

Wait, this is even worse than it seems. They're cancelling their Fantastic Four comics whilst the movie's out, there's a blanket ban on Fantastic Four characters appearing in other comics, and they are replacing X-Men with the Inhumans as much as possible in their comics.

If Fox don't make a movie for a set amount of years the rights revert back to Marvel, Fantastic Four was about to switch back that's why Fox started working on this new movie for them. So it must be something like a new movie every 6 or 7 years?

It's impossible for Marvel to get Spider-man back though, Sony own part of the character. Like, to the extent where Marvel need to consult Sony before making changes to the comic book. That's why Sony and Marvel get on, it's impossible for them to get Spider-man back so there's no point in fighting.

Marvel were bankrupt around the year 2000, they needed to sell the rights to all their characters or else they company would've closed down, not really fair to say to Fox "OK, thanks for helping us not fail, can we have that franchise you made super successful back now? Thanks x".

Some of the senators with Richard Nixon when the Sentinels were revealed in the past were the original creators of characters like Storm and Wolverine and the guy who wrote the original Days of Future Past comic, Marvel just helped them publish their material.
