So Britney should get a made-up Most-Improved Moonman too, and she should also FINALLY win an actual VMA since she’s been nominated for 16 VMAs and has never gone home with one (!!!). But you know what they say — 17th time’s a charm, and this year Brit has three chances to win since she’s nominated for three VMAs – Best Pop Video, Best Female Video, and Video of the Year.
And it’d be even more supremo dreamo fantastic if Britney came to the VMAs to pick up said hypothetical VMAs — real or fictional — in person. And now would be an ideal time for me to plead: Britney, PLEASE come to the VMAs! Pretty PLEASE!?
Anyway, who should win the Most-Improved VMA? Lindsay or Britney?

MTV is really stupid if they dont have a performance by the PCD! They lead the noms..! They should totally perform.! Thats what i would call "Doll Domination"..! and since the new single is being released on Sept 9th, they could perform a medley of WIGU and the new single..

Britney to present and award in the VMAs with Michael Phelps
She’s not performing, but Britney Spears, as part of her latest comeback attempt, will have a presence at this year’s Video Music Awards. Last week, Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph, pulled the plug on speculation that she’d be opening the awards just like last year. But she is nominated for an award for her video, “Piece of Me,” and rumor has it that she’ll also be presenting an award along with Olympic champion Michael Phelps.

I love how under any normal circumstances Michael Phelps wouldn't even be invited to the VMAs, but since he won like a gazillion medals and MTV will do anything to cash in on the flavor of the week he's going to be presenting. I mean, do you think Nastia or Shawn got invites for their fine performances? I sort of doubt it...
